Ande underwater

Here’s my first over-underwater video. It’s Ande doing a 50 Backstroke from a dive (without pulling on the lane line).

Meet info

This weekend I am competing in the USMS 2007 Short Course National Championships. The venue typically changes every year; this year the meet is being held at the King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington (just south of Seattle). Anyone interested in following along may find some of the following links useful:

To find out who is swimming what, look up a swimmer by last name. You can also look up the meet roster for an entire team, if you know the team abbreviation, or just browse the list if you don’t. My team roster is rather small this year. Hopefully it will be larger next year when the meet is a little closer to home.

The heat sheet, broken out by events, shows the heat and lane for each swimmer. Compare this to the psyche sheet, which simply lists each competitor by age group and entry time.

There will possibly also be “real time” results once the meet gets underway. If you are swimming I hope to see you there, swimming fast!

I’m 10 days out from nationals in Federal Way. It’s taper time.
